2. Nature of Our Services
RaFa Medi Tours: Trusted Care Across Borders is a medical tourism facilitation company. It is important to understand that:
- We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical care directly.
- We act as an intermediary connecting patients with accredited hospitals and qualified doctors in India.
- All medical decisions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes are the sole responsibility of the treating hospital and doctor.
- We facilitate communication, coordination, and logistics to make your medical journey seamless and supported.
- Our recommendations are based on hospital accreditation status, doctor qualifications, and patient needs — but the final choice of hospital and doctor rests with the patient.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on their behalf.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when using our services or submitting forms on our website.
- You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel, as assessed by your local physician before departure.
4. Medical Services Disclaimer
Important Medical Disclaimer:
- All medical treatments carry inherent risks. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
- Treatment plans and cost estimates provided before travel are indicative and may change based on clinical assessment upon arrival.
- We strongly recommend obtaining a medical opinion from your local physician before travelling for treatment.
- We do not guarantee specific medical outcomes, recovery timelines, or treatment success rates.
- Patients are responsible for disclosing their complete medical history, current medications, allergies, and pre-existing conditions to the treating hospital.
5. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal, medical, and travel information
- Disclose all relevant medical history, including allergies, medications, prior surgeries, and pre-existing conditions
- Obtain all necessary travel documents, including valid passport and medical visa, in a timely manner
- Carry adequate travel and medical insurance for your trip (strongly recommended)
- Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by the treating doctor
- Attend scheduled appointments and communicate any changes promptly
- Make all payments as agreed in the service quotation and payment schedule
- Comply with the rules and regulations of the treating hospital and Indian laws
6. Booking, Payment & Pricing
- Cost estimates provided are based on information available at the time of enquiry and may vary based on clinical assessment, treatment complexity, hospital stay duration, and complications.
- Hospital treatment costs are paid directly to the hospital. Our facilitation service fees are separate and will be communicated clearly before engagement.
- Travel-related costs (flights, accommodation, transfers) are subject to availability and market pricing at the time of booking.
- Advance payments or deposits, where required, will be specified in the service agreement.
- All prices are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Patient-initiated cancellation: If you cancel your treatment plan, refund eligibility depends on the stage of coordination and any non-recoverable costs already incurred (visa fees, flight bookings, hospital reservation deposits).
- Hospital-initiated changes: If the hospital cancels or reschedules your treatment, we will work to arrange an alternative or process a refund for hospital-related charges.
- Travel bookings: Cancellation of flights and accommodation is subject to the respective provider's cancellation policy.
- Facilitation service fees: Our service fees are generally non-refundable once coordination work has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our team and will be processed within 15-30 business days.
8. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all patients obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling to India for treatment. Your insurance policy should cover:
- Medical treatment costs and hospitalisation
- Medical evacuation and repatriation
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Personal liability and baggage loss
RaFa Medi Tours: Trusted Care Across Borders is not responsible for any costs arising from inadequate or absent insurance coverage.
